2025 Strategic Planning

At Swaner Preserve & EcoCenter, we're embarking on an exciting journey to shape our future. Our 2025 Strategic Planning Process is all about hearing from you - our community, partners, and supporters. We hope to define key strengths, areas of interest, and how we can best serve you over the next 3-5 years. Here are some pieces of our plan: 

Focus Groups 

We've organized 8 focus groups to gather insights from stakeholders in key program areas. These sessions will help us understand how we can provide the most value and meet the needs of our community through our many program areas. 

Spanish-Speaking Community Outreach 

We're conducting over 40 one-on-one interviews with Spanish-speaking members of our community. Hearing from Latino/a neighbors helps us dive deeper into ways we can help everyone find belonging at Swaner.  

Partnership Exploration 

We collaborate with so many great nonprofit and business partners each year. Additional one-on-one interviews will be conducted to explore how these relationships can enhance our work and expand our impact. 

Community Survey 

We'll launch a community-wide survey to gather broad input. We want everyone to have the chance to share your thoughts and ideas about the future of Swaner Preserve & EcoCenter. 

More Opportunities to Engage 

We're creating various other opportunities for our members, donors, volunteers, visitors, and community members to contribute to our strategic planning process. We anticipate an open house event in late summer or early fall to reveal what we’ve learned. We’ll invite more feedback to make sure we retain the best parts of what we do and hear your ideas for future growth and impact.
