My name is Rachel Christensen. I began looking for remote work when I had my first baby, knowing that I wanted to be home with her while still fulfilling my own goals in the workplace. I took the Master Remote Work Professional Certificate Course which helped me gain valuable skills as I applied for various positions. I was offered a part-time position at a higher education institution, and have the ability to work remotely for most of my hours. I have since been able to introduce Slack, Zoom, and other platforms to my team in an effort to make our workplace more efficient. I love being able to work effectively from home and manage my time because of the MRWP.
