High Tunnel Pest Management - Thrips
Thrips are a common pest that can be found on many high tunnel crops, plus hundreds of weed species. Two species commonly found in in Utah include Western flower thrips and Onion thrips. Bean thrips may also occur in the state.

Caterpillar pests can affect many high tunnel crops along with several weeds. Problematic species include tomato hornworm, tobacco hornworm. The tomato fruitworm, cabbage loopers, imported cabbage worms, and diamondback moth larvae.
