Utah State Universities business guidebooks provide insights into starting a home-based food business. They cover topics such as permitting, regulations and labeling requirements. For access to the guidebooks, click here.
The Business Management Curriculum from Utah State University guides entrepreneurs through seven modules, including idea development, market assessment, budgeting, financial analysis, business structures, and tax issues. Specialized topics like American Indian land tenure are also covered. Incubator Kitchens

The Incubator Kitchen located in Smithfield, UT provides a commercial kitchen space that is FDA and USDA approved. It offers hourly, weekly and monthly rental rates lending flexibility to fit your needs as a producer. 

The Bridgerland Technical College Business and Innovation Hub is dedicated to helping entrepreneurs develop and grow their businesses. They provide one on one counseling, rental space for growing companies, innovation makerspace labs, an incubator kitchen and assist with the collaborative effort of many to help businesses thrive.
