Biography
Mitchell Garets is a Research Analyst at the University of Utah's Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Epidemiology's Program for Addiction Research, Clinical Care, Knowledge, and Advocacy (PARCKA). Mitchell holds both a bachelor and master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Utah.
Mitchell has several years’ experience working in substance use disorder research and treatment and has offered research support and/or coordination on several local and national funded multi-site studies. He has several years’ experience in providing direct clinical and case management services to pregnant individuals with substance use disorders.
