Biography
Michelle Q. Chapoose is a member of the Ute Indian Tribe, Uncompahgre Band, and a Licensed Substance Use Disorder Counselor. She is currently employed with the Ute Indian Tribes residential treatment program, Red Pine.
Ms. Chapoose is currently serving on the board of directors for One Voice Recovery, a non-profit syringe exchange program servicing the Wasatch Front,the Perinatal Mortality Review Board, and the accreditation board for Utah State University's Master of Public Health program.
Michelle has over 20 years of active participation in community outreach, health education, child abuse prevention, and drug education and prevention within tribal communities.
