Biography

Chris David was born on the ancestral lands of the Navajo Nation. He is a member of the Navajo Tribe. His Clans are: Náneesht’ézhí Táchii’nii - Charcoal-Streak-red Running in to water (Maternal Clan), Tábąąhá -Water's Edge clan (Paternal Clan), Honágháahnii - One-Walk-Around Clan (Maternal Grandmother’s Clan), Kinliichíi’nii - Red House People (Paternal Grandfather’s Clan). Chris' parents are Anna David and Edward David.

Chris earned an Associates of Science Degree from DSU, Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology/Criminal Justice from Southern Utah University, and Master degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Phoenix. His relationship with the community is enhanced by the philosophy of “Walk in Beauty,” to walk in harmony with all things. As a counselor, Chris' approach is to incorporate Native American Spirituality into psychological counseling with Native American clients.

Chris has 6 children and 1 grandson. In his free time, Chris enjoys hiking and exploring the beautiful mountains of Southern Utah.
