Cara Murray

Biography

Cara serves Uintah County as the Create Better Health Ambassador. She loves having a job that allows her to teach healthy diet and lifestyle practices. Having always had a passion for learning about nutrition, now Cara has the opportunity to share that knowledge. She is excited about growing in this position and reaching out to more people through changing policies and community work.

Cara lives in Lapoint, with her husband and two kids, where they run a cattle ranch and that keeps them busy. She says it's hard work, but a great life. Cara also enjoys trail running and hiking – really, any activity that gets her outside (also why she enjoys the ranching life, hard work and sunshine!). Interesting fact, Cara ran in the 2017 Boston Marathon!
