Biography
Cris Meier, PhD, MSW, MPH, is an Assistant Professor in the Social Work Department and a Extension Community Resource and Economic Development Specialist at Utah State University.
As an Extension Specialist, she works with rural communities to improve access to resources, assist with capacity building of residents and stakeholders, implements interventions that contribute to community development, and policy, systems, and environment changes to improve health disparities.
As a social worker, Dr. Meier worked with children and their family and provided behavioral health interventions to improve their health and wellbeing.
