Ashanti Moritz

Biography

Ashanti is an enrolled member of the Makah Tribe located in Washington. She is a senior consultant at NorStar Consultants. Her specialty is working with Native American tribes to open and establish behavioral health services in their community.

Ashanti is co-presenting with Ginger Casper. Their presentation, Peer Support Rocks!, will describe peer support, how it can help our communities, and by sharing their experiences, show growth and hope is possible through treatment and support. Some highlights include embracing failure, developing working partnerships, and recognizing the individual. Expect some rock music quotes because they are all about the music!
