Direct Payments to Ag Producers - Coronavirus Food Assistance Program (CFAP)

USDA's Farm Service Agency began accepting CFAP applications on May 26, 2020. The program provides direct payments to producers impacted by price declines and additional marketing costs associated with COVID-19. This one-hour webinar walks producers through the details and definitions key to this program and helps equip them for the application process. The presenters also answer common questions about the program.
 

Eligibility:

Wool all
Dairy all
Livestock cattle, hogs, sheep (lambs and yearlings only)
Non-specialty crops malting, barley, canola, corn, upland, cotton, millet, oats, soybeans, sorghum, sunflowers, durum wheat, hard red spring wheat
Specialty crops Fruits - apples, avocados, blueberries, cantaloupe, grapefruit, kiwifruit, lemons, papaya, peaches, pears, raspberries, strawberries, tangerines, tomatoes, watermelons
  Vegetables - artichoke, asparagus, broccoli, cabbage, carrots, cauliflower, celery, sweet corn, cucumbers, eggplant, garlic, iceberg lettuce, romaine lettuce, dry onions, green onions, peppers, potatoes, sweet potatoes, rhubarb, spinach, squash, taro
  Nuts - almonds, pecans, walnuts
  Other - beans, mushrooms
