What is 4-H?
4-H empowers youth to reach their full potential, working and learning in partnership with caring adults. 4-H is the nation’s largest Positive Youth Development Program and focuses on learning by doing. Through our unique partnership with USU Extension we are able to provide opportunities for youth throughout Utah.
4-H offers a wide variety of programs, projects, contests, and events from livestock to sewing, and leadership to robotics. Explore our site to learn more.

The County Fair gives 4-H members the opportunity to show off all their hard work! It is usually held the first full week in August. Come take part in the livestock show, 4-H exhibits, and more.Weber County Fair
Programs We Offer:
FCS
In the Family and Consumer Science program, youth are given the opportunity to develop skills in areas such as sewing, cooking, baking, financial literacy, interior design, and gardening.
Horse
The Horse Program is designed for youth with an interest in horses and horse events. Youth are given the opportunity to develop leadership, citizenship, self-esteem, social skills, and horsemanship.
Leadership
4-H is an innovator in preparing young people for the future. Our leadership program engages youth in organizations and communities where they share a voice, influence, and decision-making authority, equipping young people with confidence and leadership skills to be leaders today and tomorrow.
Livestock
The Livestock Program is designed for youth who have an interest in livestock events and who want to learn about the science of livestock selection, care, and management. Youth are given the opportunity to develop leadership, citizenship, self-esteem, social skills, and showmanship.
Shooting Sports
Our Shooting Sports Program provides a wide range of opportunities for 4-H youth to learn firearm safety, build new skills, and have fun in a safe/supervised environment. Youth can also compete at a County, State, and National level along with receiving rank advancements and awards.
STEM
The STEM program introduces youth to science, technology, engineering, and math in an engaging, hands-on learning environment. Youth are given the opportunity to develop and further thinking processes, life skills, and interpersonal skills by solving real world scientific and technological problems using computational thinking, the scientific method, and engineering design.
