Why Save Seeds?

  • Preserve favorite varieties
  • Be self-sufficient
  • Save money next year
  • Take on a fun project

You can save seeds from:

  • Any vegetable that is not hybridized
  • Heirloom veggies and flowers
  • Plants that are self-pollinating

How to store seeds:

  • Make sure they are very dry
  • Place in envelopes or paper bags
  • Keep in a cool dry place
  • Label everything
  • Plant what you have every year
