First established in the 1970s, the American Youth Horse Council (AYHC) was founded by breed organizations and specialists to provide support to all youth and youth leaders throughout the equine industry. Today the AYHC is leading the charge to unite kids and horses, across breeds and disciplines, through a variety of means and opportunities. For the past several years, the Utah 4-H State Horse Ambassadors have had the opportunity to attend (and present!) at the national symposium held each spring. This year the AYHC symposium will be in Fort Worth, Texas and we want everyone to join us!
