PROGRAM AREAS

COMMUNITY AND CIVIC ENGAGEMENT

Mock Legislature

4-H Civic Engagement involves working to make a positive difference in one’s community and developing the combination of knowledge, skills, values and motivation to make a difference. Through discovering their unique roles, youth will experience all stages of community engagement. As youth learn to discover their individual voice, they will begin to interact with their communities to solve problems, create change and expand their sphere of influence.

From local to global, 4-Hers make contributions that reinforce their sense of purpose and strengthening their sense of belonging with peers and community adults.
