The Utah Stormwater Webinar Series is a quarterly virtual educational event hosted by STORMnet that presents information about construction, post-construction, and industrial stormwater, rules and regulations, best management practices, and new technologies for managing stormwater. This is the first educational stormwater webinar program to focus on the specific needs of Utah’s climate and environment and provides viewers with information to lead successful stormwater programs in the state.

Courses

Management of construction site storm water is a requirement of a Utah General Water permit, detailed in a storm water pollution prevention plans (SWPPP) and is one of the many responsibilities of site contractors. This course provides information on how construction storm water pollution can affect our watersheds, introduces best management practices, reviews storm water related laws and regulations, and highlights how storm water impacts our communities. The course provides a foundational understanding of these concepts for anyone working on a construction site, responsible for managing construction storm water, or interested in improving the water quality of our local watersheds.
