Remote Work Leader Graduates Program and Hires Remote Employees

Chuck Krivanek

Chuck Krivanek is the Primary People Person for Complete Recovery Corporation and a recent graduate of the Master Remote Leader Program. As with many call centers, the Covid pandemic was the force behind developing a remote workforce. At Complete Recovery, a leader in asset recovery, they not only reacted to the immediate need, but also took the opportunity to develop a long term plan to make remote work a part of the strategic staffing plan for the future. While initial plans were to bring everyone back to the office once the pandemic subsided, Chuck and team quickly realized the benefits of attracting and retaining top caliber employees by offering the remote work option. Currently their phone-based staff is 64% remote, and their support staff is almost 100% remote. Chuck shares that one of the key learnings from the Master Remote Leader Program was the need to create a Communication Charter to ensure everyone understands the available communications channels and when and how to use them effectively. This was covered in multiple leadership sessions to ensure each leader was equipped to support their teams remotely. Based on their remote work strategy, they have successfully moved fully remote in Texas where a building was sold and allowed them to walk away from a lease in a facility in Florida, moving fully remote. Overall, offering remote work as an option has yielded a multitude of benefits which we hope to continue to enjoy as our business grows.
