The Office of Rural Development (ORD) works with businesses in Utah’s rural counties, providing resources and programs to sustain business and improve employment opportunities. The office collaborates with local governments and other development partners to support rural economic grow mb-2th.
Through a collaborative approach, the Department of Workforce Services has served millions of Utahns and has become a leader on several statewide initiatives. Through our partnership, they provide student referrals for our courses and we provide training to help their clients find remote jobs.
The Six County Association of Governments (SCAOG) was organized to provide services — available through state and federal programs — to the citizens of Juab, Millard, Piute, Sanpete, Sevier and Wayne counties. SCAOG’s primary goal is to serve as a multi-purpose organization, utilizing combined resources to effectively provide a broad spectrum of services, including economic and community development, as well as essential human services.
The Five County Association of Governments encompasses over 11 million acres of land in southwestern Utah. The Association serves 37 municipalities (incorporated cities and towns), five county-wide school districts and the county jurisdictions of Beaver, Garfield, Iron, Kane, and Washington.
The mission of Southeastern Utah Association of Local Governments and Economic Development District is to plan and prepare with federal, state and local governments to strengthen the role of southeastern Utah local officials in the execution of state and federal programs at the regional level to implement economic development, strategize and educate low-income individuals and seniors, stabilize housing and educate individuals for economic stability.
