Biography
Paul Hill is a tenured Extension Professor at Utah State University where he leads economic development and 4-H STEM education programs. He is a recipient of the Utah Governor’s Medal for Science Technology for his innovative research and programs that have spread remote work, the maker movement, and 4-H computer science programs statewide. In 2013, Paul piloted the first 4-H Computer Science clubs and now serves as a co-principal investigator for the National 4-H CS Pathway program to reach 300,000 youth in 41 states with $7.5M from Google. Paul currently leads the Rural Online Initiative program which received an ongoing legislative appropriation to provide Utah’s rural workforce with specialized training for remote work employment opportunities.
