Pesticide Safety Education Program

USU’s Pesticide Safety Education Program helps farmers, land managers, homeowners, and pesticide applicators learn how to safely apply pesticides.

The program teaches practical skills for protecting people, crops, and the environment while complying with state and federal laws. We offer CEU workshops and webinars, free pesticide safety study guides for private and commercial applicators to handle, apply, store, and dispose of pesticides safely. USU PSEP’s #1 goal is for you to understand environmental health concerns related to pesticides and how pesticides move, work, persist, and breakdown in you, your family/community, and the environment.
