Biography

Hannah Rettler is the lead Zoonotic and Vectorborne Epidemiologist with the Utah Department of Health (UDOH). She has worked with UDOH since May 2020. Hannah currently sits on the One Health Symposium Planning Committee. Prior to her role with the Utah Department of Health, she worked in the public health informatics world with the Massachusetts Department of Health where she specialized in Foodborne and HIV/STD disease surveillance. She received her Masters in Public Health and undergraduate Degree in Public Administration and Policy from the University of Arizona. When Hannah is not busy tracking animal and insect cooties, she loves to spend time with her friends hiking, rock climbing, salsa dancing, and she bakes a mean loaf of sourdough.
