Community Horticulture Courses

USU Extension offers several different courses. More information will be added as courses become available.

Urban Forestry Course

Register for this course to learn all about trees including community forestry, anatomy, planting, maintenance, insect control, disease control and pruning. A Master Tree Steward Certificate is awarded once the course and volunteer hours are completed.

Landscape Design Course

This course provides valuable information for new homeowners or anyone interested in renovating an existing landscape. Students learn how to evaluate the landscape, basic design principles, bubble diagramming, plant selection, planting and maintenance. Basic design tools are provided.
