The Utah State University Botanical Center in Kaysville invites the community to enjoy Taste, Tour & Tah-Dah, a free weekly gathering every Wednesday evening from 6:30 to 8 p.m., now through October 2.

The event allows visitors to sample fresh, garden-grown produce, enjoy live music and entertainment, and take tours of the gardens. Knowledgeable volunteers will guide guests through the gardens and answer questions about gardening and the center, providing fun and education for all ages.

Upcoming music performances include Assembly 6.0, Harmonic Jazz of Utah, Hope Box Theater, and Ruby McKay.

“We’ve loved welcoming the community to our Taste, Tour and Tah-Dah events this summer, and we’re excited to continue them into the fall,” said Alex Zesiger, USU Botanical Center outreach manager. “In a world where green spaces are becoming scarce, the botanical center is a haven for connecting with nature. We’re incredibly lucky to have talented local musicians perform for us, adding their unique sound and energy to each event. We invite everyone to come, relax, and enjoy the beautiful center.”

The USU Botanical Center offers educational opportunities for children and adults. It features an urban fishery, walking and biking trails, wetland areas that support birds and other wildlife, multiple volunteer-tended gardens, an arboretum, and a full schedule of classes, workshops, educational field trips, and other events.

While Taste, Tour & Tah-Dah is free and open to the public, all donations directly support the gardens.
