4-H Junior Livestock
Each year over 200 of Morgan County youth participate in the Junior Livestock Program raising market animals for the County Fair. The youth learn essential life skills like responsibility, compassion, and the humane treatment of animals. They learn cooperation, leadership and community service through participation in 4-H clubs or FFA.
The Junior Livestock program is for youth in grades 3-12, as of September 1, of the current 4-H year. In order to provide for the safety and best interest of the participants, youth in grades K-2 are not eligible to participate. Youth must be enrolled in 4-H or participating in the FFA program at Morgan High School. Registration deadline is April 1, 2024 by 5 p.m. No exceptions!
This program includes activities for those youth who own/have access to livestock. Activities can include everything from education and fun club meeting, livestock shows and the Morgan County Fair, service projects, judging contests and leadership opportunities.
Youth must first enroll in the Morgan County 4-H program and pay the State 4-H fee of $10. After payment and registration is approved then youth must enroll in the Livestock Project and pay an additional $10. This is done by registering member in an event in Zsuite just like you would for the livestock camp registration (detailed instructions). If you need additional help with enrollment and registration please call our office at 801-829-3472.
Enrollment & Payment completed online through http://4h.zsuite.org ($20 total)
