Mandarin Chinese STEAM Program
Fall 2023 Language Learning Camps
With a curriculum focused on STEAM, hands-on activities and USU Extension 4H, students learn about sustainable development through using Mandarin Chinese. Fall 2023 camps held at the USU Salt Lake City Center. The fee is $120 per section for the 4-H members and $120 for non 4-H members.
Mandarin Chinese STEAM Program (2nd - 3rd grade)
For 2nd and 3rd grade students in Chinese dual-language immersion programs or with Mandarin-speaking backgrounds
March Science: Earth's Lithosphere

- Learning Earth lithosphere activities, including plate and volcano with hands-on activities
April Science: Earth's Hydrosphere

Friday Section: Apr 14 - May 05 2:30 – 3:30 PM Every Friday

- Learning Earth water system with hands-on activities

April Science: Forensic Science
Friday Section: Apr 14 - May 05 2:30 – 3:30 PM Every Friday

- Learning the secret of forensic science and evidence analysis skills with hands-on activities
Mandarin Chinese Art & Culture Program
Chinese Culture & Art Class, introduces Chinese culture and art by crafting and painting. We have two teachers in each class to focus on lower and upper grades.
