Horticulture Faculty Member: Taun Beddes
Taun was raised around agriculture, and his first job was on a local farm. Since then, he has continued to work in and with the local green industry and still enjoys working directly in the soil.
Taun holds a B.S. in Ornamental Horticulture and an M.S. in Plant Science. He is currently employed by Utah State University Extension as a horticulturist. He primarily works in Utah County with commercial fruit and vegetable growers and assists homeowners and hobbyists with gardening questions.

Juab County Community Garden — 2025 Season
People of all ages enjoy the benefits of gardening. For residents who do not have access to garden space, the Juab County Community Garden provides an opportunity to participate and grow their own produce.
There are 20 individual plots sized at 4' × 10' located on the north side of the Juab County Fairgrounds in Nephi. Plots are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
