Irrigation Distribution Uniformity Economics

This tool is designed to calculate the benefit of increased irrigation uniformity and updated irrigation systems. Increasing irrigation uniformity through updating irrigation systems improves crop yields, and thus generates more revenue. To use the tool, begin by selecting from the dropdown menus the region the field of interest is located in, the irrigation technology in use, and the crop being grown. Any additional parameters are entered in the table below. The tool will then provide estimated yield revenue benefit of increasing uniformity. Please note that the tool does not account for head loss within pipes and the actual irrigation area value is preset to 100 acres by default.
