Skyward: Recalibrating Life Under the Stars

Skyward is a nature-based program that supports teen wellness through awe, reflection, and connection under the night sky. Through shared outdoor experiences and guided activities, teens are invited to rediscover wonder, belonging, and a deeper sense of calm under the night sky.

About

Skyward is an evidence-based, nature-centered program that fosters emotional resilience, curiosity, and connection among teens through intentional encounters with the night sky. Rooted in phenomenological research and informed by the science of awe, environmental psychology, and creative expression, Skyward invites teens to slow down, look up, and rediscover their inner and outer worlds.

Skyward was born out of a simple observation: when teens spend time under a truly dark sky, something shifts. The distractions of digital life, the noise of constant comparison, and the isolation of modern adolescence begin to soften. In their place, awe, stillness, curiosity, and meaning emerge. This program embraces a holistic view of learning, where embodied experience, reflection, and emotional insight are just as valuable as knowledge. It invites teens to move from internal pressure toward external wonder and awe, from fragmented attention toward deep noticing. Let's keep looking Skyward!
