Are you passionate about conquering food insecurity and improving nutrition among vulnerable populations? The USU Hunger Solutions Institute invites you to develop an innovative and sustainable solution and enter in the 2025 NourishTank student competition.

Five teams will be selected to present their ideas at the competition. A panel of judges will choose one team as the grand prize winner.  This year's theme is Policy, Systems, and Environmental Change.

Judges' Rubric

A panel of judges will be assembled to hear student proposals. These judges will be chosen from a variety of fields representing the entire spectrum of the food system. This includes academia, agriculture, business, government, non-profit, environmental science, and health and nutrition.  
Together this panel represents a balance of expertise, ensuring all proposals are evaluated with a 360-degree of food security challenges and opportunities.
