Teaching Interests

Interests include nutrition, wellness, and food safety. In the current position, I am interested in assessing how healthy eating, physical activity, and other healthy behaviors assist in decreasing or preventing chronic pain, and how developing and utilizing those skills are essential in substance abuse recovery programs. Other areas of interest are workplace injury prevention, inmate education and connection to resources, and resilience building.
