2024 ANNUAL REPORT
The 2024 Rural Online Initiative's Annual Program Report highlights Utah State University Extension's efforts to strengthen rural economies through remote work and e-commerce training. The report details the program's four flagship offerings: Certified Remote Work Professional, Certified Remote Work Leader, Certified Sales Professional, and E-Commerce Accelerator, along with measurable outcomes, including 642 job placements and over $579,000 in new e-commerce revenue generated by rural small businesses. It emphasizes ROI's role in reducing unemployment, increasing workforce participation, and strengthening economic resilience across rural communities.
