Ingredients

  • 3-4 lbs tomatoes 
  • 1/2 small red onion, diced
  • 2-3 jalapeño peppers
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • Large handful of cilantro
  • 1 tsp red wine vinegar
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Roughly chop tomatoes, red onion, and jalapeño pepper.
  2. Add tomatoes, onion, jalapeño peppers, garlic, cilantro, red wine vinegar, lime, juice, salt, and pepper to a food processor or blender.
  3. Pulse until salsa reaches desired consistency.
  4. Serve in a bowl with chips and vegetables or on top your favorite Hispanic dish.

Notes
Used canned tomatoes in place of fresh tomatoes when needed!
