The NNCP did a phenomenal job teaching core nutrition principles! My favorite section was the fat macro nutrient portion. It clearly taught the differences between mono, poly, saturated and unsaturated fats, how their chemical compounds vary and how that impacts our body’s response. Is the NNCP an accredited nutrition certification?
Yes. The NNCP is developed by Utah State University Extension and validated by registered dietitians and public health professionals. It is one of the most credible online nutrition certification programs available for working health professionals and students.
How long does the online nutrition course take?
Both programs are fully self-paced. The Advanced certification covers 14 modules and most health professionals complete it in 15-20 hours over the span of 3 months. The Career Exploration course can be completed at your own pace with no live sessions or fixed deadlines.
