Certified Organic Farming
Transition to Organic Farming with Confidence
Transition to Organic Partnership Program (TOPP)
The Transition to Organic Partnership Program (TOPP) is a collaborative effort created by USDA. It involves dozens of partner organizations to support transitioning and certified organic farmers.
Utah State University is participating in this program as part of the west/southwest region. This region is overseen by the nonprofit organization, California Certified Organic Farmers (CCOF).
Your support team for Organic Certification
The TOPP team at USU will help farmers get connected with certified organic mentors, overcome financial and technical issues with transitioning, and learn about maintaining an organic farm.
Reach out with questions on how to get certified organic, organic production practices, the latest USU research & factsheets, and stay up to date on our upcoming events, field days, webinars, and workshops.
