Bees in Education

Utah State University Botanical Center has an edible demonstration garden, arboretum, wetlands, ponds, and more. Year-round research is conducted at the orchards and you will also find bee hives on site.

Located just south of the Edible Demonstration garden, you'll find Flow Hive, Top Bar, and two Langstroth Hives. They have been active since 2017 and are maintained by the Botanical Center Garden Manager. Approach the hives at your own risk, however. We recommend if you do, visit in the late evening when the bees are less active.
