Gardens and Bees

Thanksgiving Point houses 5 Langstroth hives located northwest of the greenhouse at Ashton Gardens. Active since 2016, they serve as research for the Thanksgiving Point Horticulturalist on site. These bee hives are not in the main view of the public, but are not specifically restricted to visitors. Please approach the hives at your own risk and be respectful of the hives. Keep a lookout for a bumble bee hive that will be on display in the newly constructed butterfly biosphere in the near future.
