What is Game Design?
Game Design is an enriching activity that challenges participants to create their own board games. Aimed at developing both creative and technical skills, this club involves a series of guided steps—from concept to completion—culminating in a state-level competition.
Participants, working individually or in teams of two or three, will navigate the engineering design process to discover what makes a game engaging and successful. The program's highlight is the Family Game Night in December, where families enjoy treats and play the games designed by the participants. Following this, improvements are made in preparation for entry into the county fair and the game design challenge.
Who Can Join?
