Uintah County 4-H Horse Program
The 4-H Horse Program is a great way for youth to learn more about horses, improve their riding skills, and gain confidence.
-
Horse Council: A group of leaders, parents, and youth who help plan and organize horse program events, rules, and activities for the year.
- Horse Club Meetings: Monthly club meetings give youth the chance to learn new skills, practice record keeping, and connect with other horse enthusiasts.
- Interested in a Horseless Club? This type of club is perfect for youth who don’t own a horse but still want to learn! Members study horse care, safety, and riding knowledge through hands-on activities and projects.
-
Shows & Events: Participate in local horse shows, county activities, clinics, and Horse Council events to build skills and show what you’ve learned.
Whether you’re just starting out or an experienced rider, the Horse Program offers opportunities to grow, compete, and have fun with friends who share your passion.
