Supporting Tooele County's Agricultural Economy

Tooele County has a thriving agricultural base with over 400,000 acres of farmland. Agricultural products contribute over $15 million to the local economy. The Tooele County Extension Office supports farm families through educational materials and programs designed to improve profitability and sustainability.

Tooele County Junior Livestock Program

The Utah 4-H Livestock Program engages youth interested in raising and showing livestock. Participants develop leadership, citizenship, self-esteem, and social skills through hands-on learning and community involvement.

Tooele County's Junior Livestock Show is held annually as part of the Tooele County Fair. Registered 4-H and FFA youth can exhibit and sell their project animals. Participants must register online through fairentry.com. On the homepage, select "Find Your Fair," choose Utah, and then select "Tooele County Livestock Show and Sale."

Important: You must register for showmanship to be eligible to sell your animal.
