Esther Davis

Biography

Esther has worked with the USU Permaculture Initiative since 2018. She earned a Permaculture Design Certificate after a year-long course with permaculturist Geoff Lawton in 2019. She has enjoyed many opportunities to connect with fellow permaculture enthusiasts at the workshops that she has been able to attend, organize, and instruct at. Moments like visiting the Hopi Tutskwa Permaculture Institute and spending time at a small-scale animal farm in Idaho have cemented her love for growing food in a sustainable, self-sufficient way.

During her schooling at USU, Esther developed a permaculture design for a family in Cache Valley. After completing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Computer Science minor, she hopes to continue helping people make their permaculture dreams a reality.

Esther also enjoys reading science fiction and fantasy, studying Japanese, and writing stories.
