Description: The Bernalillo County Extension Master Composters are community home composting educators. Through free public classes, information tables and consultation we present the science, art, materials, methods and benefits of various high desert composting methods. The program provides an educational brochure which is specific for desert composting techniques. The master composter training class is about 25 hours. Graduates commit to completing 10 annual volunteer hours in the community and in support of the association.
