Description: The Regional Sustainable Development Partnerships (RSDP) connect Greater Minnesota communities to the University of Minnesota to take advantage of new opportunities and solve problems. RSDP brings together local talent and resources with University knowledge and seed funding to drive sustainability in four areas: agriculture and food systems, resilient communities and tourism, natural resources, and clean energy.

Program: Sustainable Urban Landscaping Information Series (SULIS)

Description: The goal of SULIS is to provide sustainable landscape information to the public and to the horticulture/landscape industry. A landscape developed with sustainable practices will improve the environment by conserving resources and reducing chemical applications. A sustainable landscape will also reduce labor inputs making it less expensive to implement and maintain. By utilizing SULIS concepts, homeowners, business owners and related industry personnel will be able to create outdoor spaces that are functional, maintainable, environmentally sound, cost effective and aesthetically pleasing.
