Protectors of Urban Pollinators (PUPs)
Protectors of Urban Pollinators (PUPs) is a curriculum developed to address growing interest in pollinator education throughout Salt Lake County. PUPs walks educators through the process of pollination, why pollinators are important and how to protect and promote the importance of pollinators.
PUPs follow the three P's:
- PLANT pollinator plants
- PROTECT pollinator habitat by avoiding use of insecticides toxic to bees
- PROMOTE importance of pollinators to others
