Salt Lake Stitchers Sewing Camp
Date: June 8-10

Location: Wheeler Farm Outdoor Education Center

Details: Welcome to Salt Lake Stitchers Summer Camp! We’re so excited to have you here for three creative mornings of sewing, learning, and making something that’s completely your own.
We’ll be meeting from 9:00am to 12:00pm, June 8–10 at the Wheeler Farm Outdoor Education Center.
During that time you’ll create two awesome projects: a reverse appliqué T-shirt and a pair of shorts. You’ll learn how to use sewing tools, work with fabric, and bring your work to life, step by step. Registration will tell you what you will need to bring and what we will provide.

Quantum Leap STEM Camp

Details: Get ready to travel through time! Join our Salt Lake County 4-H STEM Project Ambassadors for a three-day adventure designed by State STEM Ambassadors and led by local youth leaders. Campers will visit exciting time periods, complete hands-on STEM challenges, and solve problems along the way—all in an effort to make it back to the present!

Teen Leadership Retreat
Date: June 15-17

Location: Heber City, Utah
Grades: 8-12
Cost: $50
Details: Open to all teens who would like to join Teen Council for the 2026-2027 school year and teens who were actively involved in Teen Council this year. We will stay in Heber, Utah. We will spend our time learning leadership and communication skills while playing games, exploring the outdoors and having fun together.

Jr. Teen Council Leadership Retreat

Details: It's time to relax, connect, grow and learn! New friendships, leadership skills and fun memories are guaranteed! Join us for team building challenges, decision making games and opportunities to get to know each other better. Lunch is provided! Fashion Revue County Contest

Details: If you love fashion, repurposing, sewing your own clothes, or finding a great deal on an outfit you can participate in the Fashion Revue County Contest. You will participate in a fashion show to show off your project. Judges will be there to give you some insights on your project to help you improve.

The Kraken’s Cove Cloverbud Camp

Livestock-opoly Camp

Details: Welcome to Livestock-opoly! Walk the board with the Livestock Project Ambassadors as you navigate the livestock industry. Youth roll through hands-on stations inspired by Monopoly, building skills in feeding basics, showmanship, animal behavior, nutrition, health, and confidence, all while learning what it really takes to succeed in the livestock industry. Whether you own a livestock animal or not, but want to learn more, this is the camp for you!

Heroes of the Herd Horse Camp

Details: Join the Horse Project Ambassadors on a superhero-themed adventure into the equine world, becoming Heroes of the Herd. Through creative, “superpower” activities, participants will explore equine basics such as colors and safety, nutrition, and more. This interactive Horse Hero Academy is designed to be hands-on and engaging. You’ll leave with a stronger understanding of your equine partners and a chance to ride a horse at the end of the camp, so whether you own a horse or not, but want to learn more, this is the camp for you!

Food Waste Heroes
Date: June 26

Details: Suit up and join the fight against food waste! In this hands-on camp session, campers will explore where food comes from, discover how food waste happens, and learn how small choices can make a big difference. Through fun activities like investigating food miles, learning about composting, and making seed balls, youth will see how food scraps can become something new. By the end, they’ll be ready to become Food Waste Heroes at home, at school, and in their communities.

Looking Forward to Family Camp 2026
Family Camp is open to all SLCo 4-H families as a way for us all to come together and have some good ol' 4-H fun!! Teen Council leaders will guide youth in a variety of different themed activities throughout the camp.
Please note: parents must attend this camp with their child the entire time.
Get ready for a magical adventure at Clover Quest Camp! This fun-filled overnight experience invites youth in grades K–8 to step into a world of castles, knights, and quests—all led by awesome teen leaders. Campers will spend their days going on exciting adventures, completing challenges, and building new skills as they journey through their very own Clover Quest. In the evenings, youth and their families will camp together under the stars. Due to the nature of this camp, a parent or adult chaperone must stay on site for the camp. Held at the Pine Grove Group Campsite, this unforgettable experience is just $25 per youth, with adults attending free. Come ready for adventure, friendship, and a whole lot of fun!
A parent or chaperone must stay on site for the camp. Camping equipment is not provided and meals are not provided with the exception of the Tuesday night dinner.
Once registration closes, we will send more information regarding meals, campsite details, etc.

Cost: $25 per K-8th grade
When: July 20-22 (Families should expect to arrive at 4 pm on Monday and checkout for all is 12 pm on Wednesday.)

Junior Youth Conference (JYC)

Location: USU Eastern, Price, Utah
Details: Junior Youth Conference (JYC) is an amazing opportunity for 5th and 6th graders (2025-2026 school year) to make friends, learn new skills, and have the time of their lives. Join us June 29 - July 1 at USU Eastern in Price, UT and enjoy all the fun activities. Activities will include workshops taught by Teen Leaders and 4-H experts, water games, camp songs/games, dancing, and more!.

Details: i4-H Camp is a summer camp for youth in grades 7-8 (2025-2026 school year). i4-H campers participate in team building workshops taught by teen leaders, complete STEM challenges, make new friends and have a remarkable summer adventure. Teen Summit:
Dates: July 13-15th
Location: USU in Logan
Details: The Jungle of Life is full of adventure and challenges. Come join us at this year's Teen Summit where we will explore ways to improve your skills, help you map the trail ahead and empower you with the leadership and resiliency you need to chart your future. Workshops will include topics on confidence, adaptability, public speaking, balancing your life, personal motivation, setting healthy boundaries, knowing yourself, and so much more.
Through interactive experiences the youth will build friendships and a sense of belonging and empowerment that will strengthen their leadership abilities and motivate them to enact positive change in their communities.

Utah 4-H Family & Consumer Sciences (FCS), World of Work, and Public Speaking state contests—held during the annual 4-H Classic at Utah State University
Date: July 13
Location: USU in Logan
Details: FCS contests emphasize practical life skills such as nutrition, food preparation, clothing and textiles, financial literacy, and family life through events like Favorite Foods, Fashion Review, FCS Bowl, presentations, and skill-a-thon.
The World of Work contest focuses on career readiness, with youth demonstrating employability skills like interviewing, resume development, and professional communication.
Public Speaking contests—including prepared speech and impromptu speaking —help participants build confidence, organization, and persuasive communication skills. Together, these contests promote leadership, critical thinking, and workforce preparedness, with top participants often advancing to national-level opportunities.
