Description:

Plate 1443X. Wolf Springs Wash 1937 – 2007 Viewed southeast at the head of Wolf Springs Wash on the Lower Kolob Plateau in Zion National Park. The road to Lee Valley has been graveled, reducing erosion. Sagebrush and oakbrush initially increased but then declined following a prescribe burn ignited by the Park Service. Native grasses have increased. Oakbrush has resprouted and a few sagebrush have reinvaded the burned area.
