Plate 1072X. West Pass Creek Reseeding 1962 – 2005 Viewed northeast on West Pass Creek to Haycock Mountain (9,047 ft.) east of Panguitch Lake. The area was root-plowed and reseeded to smooth brome and crested wheatgrass in 1952 - - see Plate 1068x. The seeding has now been invaded by three-tipped sage. Pinyon, juniper, ponderosa pine, and curlleaf mountain mahogany have increased in the distance.
