Upper Levanger Lake

Description:

Plate 884X. Upper LeVanger Lake 1915 – 2005 Viewed south-southwest across upper LeVanger Lake west of Alton, Utah. This lake was dry in 2004, but was full in 2005 due to an extremely wet winter and spring. A low dam has been built on the lake’s outlet. Pinyon, juniper, and ponderosa pine have all increased.
