Plate 237. UPPER LAKE STREAM BASIN MOUNT HOLLY 1962-2000 Viewed south in upper Lake Stream basin below Mount Holly. This area was gully-plugged, contour-trenched, and reseeded by the Forest Service to control erosion into Puffer Lake - - see Plate 150. Shown in the original are two v-shaped gully plugs. Spruce has increased on this subalpine site and the area is not presently grazed by livestock.
