Description:

Plate 318. UPPER BEAVER CREEK TUSHER MOUNTAINS 1920-2001 Viewed southeast over the head of Beaver Creek to Big Meadows from the ridge northeast of Mount Belknap. Mount Brigham (11,757 ft) is on the left skyline, while Delano Peak (12,169 ft) is on the right. Conifers, primarily spruce, have increased in height and density, but upper treeline appears unchanged. Note the new access road, cat trails, and other mining activity in the retake.
