Plate 720X. Truman Bench 1962 – 2004 The Forest Service established four utilization transects, one pellet group transect, and two Parker-Three Step Transects on Truman Bench in 1962 to monitor range conditions. Plate 720x is viewed southeast at the start of the Parker Three-Step Transects. Pinyon and juniper have increased, as have cliff rose, Utah serviceberry, mountain big sage, and snakeweed.
